Could stock trading benificial for the small investors, if so give idea to purchase stocks and the period?

I’m new to trading. I’ve taken a class in options trading and am reading everything I can on trading, timing, money management etc. I want to start out with a sizeable account ~$20,000.00 so I won’t get knocked out quickly while I’m getting the feel for the market. Is it possible to get a loan for these purposes? Since stock trading can be considered a business does anybody know if there is a small business-type loan for stock trading purposes. Any help would be of great help. I know I will be able to perform well in the market. But it is difficult to save a sizeable trading account when you have bills, mortgage etc. Thanks

I’m with ameritrade and when I sell stocks, they make you wait three days until the cash settles, then you can use the profit to buy stocks again. Is there any stock trading company (etrade, scotttrade, charles schwab, fxcm) that doesn’t do that?

I been looking at Ameritrade, Scottrade, E-trade, etc. I do not no much bought stock trading but I do watch Crammer on Mad Money alot. What’s your opinion?

This game always favors those in control of the stock rather than ordinary investors.
Today they decide the stock is up and tomorrow it is down.
These master gamblers are super rich while ordinary investors are loosing their money.
Is stock trading not a gambling affairs?
What exactly are we buying apart from the speculations of the stock traders?
Just lost 20 k and not sure to whom?
Should anyone still be buying these people’s speculations?

I was a little drunk yesterday on the golf course and bragging to my father-in-law about my vast knowledge of the stock market. Now he wants me to invest a large portion of his wealth! I’ve never even owned a stock or done any daytime trading or anything.

Can anyone recommend me an online trading company such as ScottTrade, eTrade, AmeriTrade, etc. Which one offers low fees and can u tell me about your experiences? I want to purchase a thousand or two of a low priced stock, what are the boundaries if I wanted to take the money back out after a year of positive growth? Please help, economy *****.

What is the best fantasy stock trading game or site where you can win prizes? Do you play it? Hopefully it’s live trading.

I’m currently with sharebuilder because they didn’t require a minimum… I’ve since gotten heavily invested into stock trading/option trading… I don’t believe this is the best site for trading options, because I cannot find some of the quote symbols I find on other sites. Let me know.
